Snow Angels

I DEDICATE THIS SNOWMAN TO BUNS!

Morning from a freeezing... no wait we are below freezing... -7 (feels like -14 according to the weather report) Buffalo!

The snow really picked up last night and came down in buckets! I had an absolute blast watching it! See that pic from yesterday of the front porch and those two cement columns? THIS is how they looked last night:
Eventually at around midnight I managed to coax Peter out with me to make a snow angel and a snowman... I had to borrow his coat as I have yet to invest in a winter coat, seeing as how we are leaving soon it just seems like a waste to me. Here are the better pics of the snow angel and above this post our mini-snowman... we got too cold to stick around for too long...


After all my careful planning I STILL didn't get the parcels out on time yesterday. I still have two client packages that need to go and all my Christmas cards are waiting for the stamps to arrive from the post office before I can send them!! VERY frustrating. Then there are the international parcels. You can print your own postage online, but then you need tohave this little plastic envelope to slide all of the labels for customs into, and so now I am sitting with two international parcels, postage paid, but no plastic cover so they have to come with me to the post office this afternoon. We are going at around 1:30 and I am hoping that the postman delivers my stamps before then... he apparently tried to deliver them yesterday but no one was home... we are home every day!! Grrr... anyway, we will see how it goes... But I am really hoping to get everything out today so I can focus on the last few gifts that we need to buy.
