Wow, this weekend flew by! I, of course, didnt accomplish half of what I had intended to... but I enjoyed myself! I spent Saturday bent over with "girl pains", Peter was a real trooper, my sweet guy!
Yesterday we spent mostly vegging out. Peters mom brought over some extra greens from their decorating and so I set to work making wreaths and garlands a-plenty. The top of the tv one is my fave... the wreath... not so much... It's a bit wonky and looks... slap dash.. but I will get on to jazzing it up a little this evening. for now it is just fine. The coolest part is that this house smells like pine, gluhwein and chocolate... Mmmmmmm.... CHRISTMAS!!

Me too. Mine smells like paint and bleach today. Yuck. Nothing Christmassy about that. Hope you're feeling better today Rozzie! xx
That is so wierd! My house is going to smell like paint soon too. I have decided to try painting this ugly bookshelf we have before I make decisions about it's future. It's ugly, but we use it alot. I just dont want to lug ugly things to Texas. If it looks ok once painted it survives, if not, it's headed to the Salvation Army!

Our bathroom - it was in need of a fresh coat. We had these accent tiles that were yellow, and soft sunshine yellow walls, and the rest of our flat is quite neutral, so it was time... The bleach is from frantic cleaning before mom-in-law arrives in the morning!!
hee hee... You're soooo lucky you have the time to do that! I find that on days when this house is award worthy no one visits, but Peter and I always laugh that on days when his mom is popping over it always looks like a bomb has gone off in here!!!(which truthfully is more often than not how it looks here)...
