OK.... Tejas continued...

*did you see how I used the original Spanish spelling for Texas there... smart aren't I?*

Ok,... so now to continue. We went through to Peter's uncle David for Thanksgiving day. He owns a large piece of land out in an area 20 minutes from Austin called Dripping Springs. We chatted and snacked, and played, and snacked and ate and played and chatted and ate some more... and then we went home and collapsed!
THe property was absolutely gorgeous and we went for a walk around, played some basketball and Peter even jumped around on the trampoline with his cousin, neice and nephew. We discovered that I am no slouch at Basketball too! While I sucked at the game of horse we played, I came into my own after a couple practice throws. MUCH easier than Netball because of that board at the back! I've decided that we need to get a net as soon as we get a house!

All in all much fun was had. Being surrounded by all those kids and babies made me very broody again... I know we aren't ready financially yet for a baby, but I don't think ou really ever are financially ready for them.... you just kind of adjust your budget and lifestyle to accomodate them. Needless to say, Peter has had me whining since we got back... One day... just not right now I suppose. I think he softened to the idea when we were there a bit as well... so here's hoping!

I came home and after unpacking (and catching up on the laundry which I hope to get done later today) I will begin the Christmas festivities and sending cards, decorating, finalizing gift lists etc. I already have the majority of my gifts... Well it's the same gift that is going to some important people in my life... I am not going to give it away though... and then I made a couple of gifts for some people... Nothing really fancy, but then it is the thought that counts right and the fact that I made them myself has to count for something??

ANyway... we got another "Where's George" bill today so I am off to find out where he has been. You should check this site out. It's this fun little project where they stamped a couple of one dollar bills and sent them out into the universe and then when people find them they go to this website and log the town they were issued the bill. So you can see where all your one dollar bill has been before it got to you. Some of them have been around the world and come back... others haven't left this country, but have travelled across it several times over. I will let you know where this one has been before. Peter was given it this morning at the convenience store across the road.

Catch ya later!
