TGIF!

Feeling a bit lethargic today... but the good news is that I am closed on Monday so it's a long weekend for me... haven't had one of those in ages since all my clients seem to work every bank holiday there is.

I had a fab productive night last night. I finished off a cat that I have been working on. (also from a pattern by Hillary Lang of Wee Wonderfuls). Now the cat was harder I have to tell you... I struggled with him a bit especially doing his underbelly.. but he came together in the end and I wonder if it wasn't my fabric choice that was the problem... skinny old thin sheets aren't always best for fine work... you live and learn.

Then I started this second bunny... my fave so far... He is made out of old pants of mine that were off to the charity shop.

This is our anniversary weekend and on Sunday it will be one year! *sigh!* today is the day that P and his mom arrived in SA and my dad and I went to fetch them from the airport in the sweltering sweltering heat! ( I understand why it was such a shock for them now... there is still snow on the ground here!!)
