Well there you have it... one year down... 70 more to go at least... haha...
Here are some of my fave pics from the weekend (please note the very straight hair on my head! Fun while it lasts).

Saturday was P's day and he could do whatever he wanted to do without complaint. He spent the whole day playing GTA San Andreas.. andordered a huge pizza for dinner.
I also most of Saturday sewing and I decided to try my hand at the little coin purse of Rachel's over at Bling on my Sewing Machine.

What we have learned is:
- that we definitely need the zip to fit the top of the square properly.
- that we stink at sewing in zippers
- that next time we need to add a zipper we need to find a separate tut' for that part
- that saving those worn out old cords was a FABULOUS idea!
- that I need a sewing machine with more options than - - - - - stitch.
When I got in the car he had this weird smile on his face and said he felt like he was cheating on me... haha! I love that man!!Today I have the day off and it's all about spring cleaning this house and getting rid of the last little dusty smoky spots wherever they may be hiding. I will get on with that... just as soon as I have had my fill of blog jumping...

You and I have a mutual hate for zippers. I took mine out twice before I posted that tutorial! Also, a mutual longing for straight hair without all of the work. Whenever I straighten mine, I keep it that way for two days before I am forced to wash it again. Glad your man thought you looked super hot!
Oh, I forgot to tell you I really like your coin purse design. I've been wanting to make some quilts with circles and stitching all over them. I love the texture of it. Thanks for sharing!
