A QUILT!

In more weekend craftiness I worked on my first (technically second, but the first one isn't worth counting) quilted item - without batting, which makes it NOT a quilted item..

I made this reversible sewing machine dust cover and I am so proud of myself!

Will add more pics later today. Have a bunch of work to do and I need to prepare for an interview at 1pm that I DON'T want to give. :(

Have a fantastic day!

WOW!! That is gorgeous!!! Perfect patches and colours. Is it a rectangular shape, with ties, or is it a fitted shape? I am so impressed! Been a long time since we did crafty stuff hey? All these renovations suck up all the creative energy.

The lines look like they all line up perfectly in this pic, and the bottom two rows do, but the further along we go the more crooked the lines become... It boils down to my being sucky at cutting... but I figure the whole thing is at least straight and that's something right? lol

It's literally just a rectangle with ribbons on either side that tie. if you enlarge this pic you will see a pink and green ribbon on the right under the wheel. (I didn't have enough of either color, so I went with both).

Will take more pics later. I also did a little coaster project.. they're pretty cute. I just felt this need to make stuff this weekend so I went with it...

I saw the ribbons... a very cute idea. Think I might also need to make one... I have one of those cheap and tacky plastic jobs that come with a cheap machine (Saffa el cheapo special from Game!!).
