We weren't sure about the amenities so we brought just about everything we could possibly need. (Including our old faithful rusty braai).
We were so excited at the prospect of meeting more of "my people" as we've had a hard time making new friends here in Austin with working from home and all.
What we learned from yesterday is that we really should have started on the quest for friends a long long time ago. The two of us are now so socially inept that we basically stood at the edge of the group speaking only to those who came to us... and then, feeling awkward, we left the old faithful braai full of still-hot coals behind and high tailed it out of there.
Ugh... Gonna try again in September at the Potjie Festival!

I was so freaked out that I forgot to take any once we got inside... :)

Yeah...but those were NOT 'our' people.

ROFL!! Can laugh at this loudly cos we are EXACTLY the same! That is what we get for being able to work in our jammies. Don't worry, there are hundreds of thousands of us geeks hiding behind our computer screens. :)
Well aside from Comic-Con, where do they all go when they leave the house? haha
