What on earth?

So you know that I am a total newbie when it comes to sewing and that I recently picked up a lovely sewing machine for a steal at an estate sale.

The machine came with this.... I THINK it's a button hole maker thingy... but I have no idea what it's called or how it works. Anyone out there that can help me out with some info?


In other news my sisters husband and kids have made it to Canada and granny is spoiling them rotten already! haha. They have never seen snow before and it's all Brendon could talk about when I called. Too cute!!

I am closing shop on Friday and can't wait to enjoy a long weekend of crafting and relaxing with the hubs! I CAN'T WAIT!! There are already a couple of mags waiting for me, I have a painting project in mind and I am seriously thinking of attempting a pair of lounge pants without a pattern again... this time I plan to use old sheets for a practice run before I waste more perfectly good fabric on an "Oops!"
