Go Sabres!!!!!!

So I know I promised a decent post this afternoon, but to be honest... I can't think of anything but the game to post about. So I thought I would introduce you lovely ladies to the whole hockey thing and why it has become so addictive to me. This video was made by some dude here in Buffalo and he raps in parts of it (ugh!)... but anyway... the opening music is what is played on TV when the game is about to start and it's what gets me all excited and nervous at once. The man yelling in the song is Rick Jeanneret (sp?) who is the wacky tv announcer for our games and he KICKS ASS. He gets WELL into the games and so this song samples some of his most used expressions. For example, "Top shelf where mama hides the cookieeessss" which cracks me up every time.

There is another video which is a GooGoo Dolls song (apparently they are from here) and it features hockey fans around Buffalo and some scenes that you can kind of see where I live. It also shows how excited everyone gets about hockey here.... I will post that one if you want to see it. I am just not so keen on the whole GooGoo Dolls thing...
