Well, I had asked Peter to join me in writing a message to post this first time, seeing as how he is the captain of this Good Ship! However, he wants me to make the first post happen and he will join me later from time to time.
The purpose of this blog is to share with family and friends as well as the rest of the world, the frustrations of getting our visa arranged so that we can FINALLY be together and start our family!!
Why the title? Well, if you know us then you will understand. We are a young couple who met in an online Trivia Game room. We were both champions of the room at various times. One of our big loves is crossword puzzling. We also both enjoy reading... the good thing is that we are both aware of how dorky this makes us sound... and we dont give a damn! heheh
We were married on 11th March 2006, in Durban, South Africa. The greatest day in our lives thus far!! We are busy working our way through a Family Visa so that I may join Peter in the United States. It has been hard going... We have tried a fiancee visa and the application was lost. We then tried to get me an entry visa for a vacation... this too was unsuccessful!
Frustrations abound as we forge our way into yet another application.... lets hope that this one is approved, and quickly so we can be together!
