HAPPY EASTER everybody!!
Well... another day without a countdown has passed us by... this one DID however bring with it SOMETHING that made us smile... our wedding announcement has at last appeared in the Buffalo News. It reads:
Roslyn Talbot is bride of Peter N. Null -Buffalo News, 4/16/2006
At home in Buffalo are Peter Noble Null and his bride, Roslyn Dawn Talbot, who traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa, after their wedding March 11 at 1:30 p.m. at Old Fort Chapel, Durban, South Africa. The bride is the daughter of Sharon Gehlig of Calgary, Alberta, and Gregory Talbot of Durban. Anne Bertholf of Buffalo and Jack Null of Kent, Ohio, are parents of the bridegroom, who is a cook in the Park Lane Restaurant.
"At home in Buffalo".... if ONLY!
Anyway.... it appeared and so now I know that all and sundry in Buffalo now know we are married. (It's comforting to think that the girls know he is off the market! hehe)
In other news I have been sending my CV out to some temping agencies in the area just introducing myself and getting my CV listed with them in order to expedite things when I get there. I havent worked formally in over a year now and I cannot wait to get back into the working world and earning my own money again!!
Poor Peter has to work today. It being Easter the Park Lane has a brunch menu which has been horribly overbooked and is going to take a herculean effort to pull off. Im hoping that he will have enough strength to go to his mothers and come online to hang out with me for a bit tonight... But as he only has about 2 hours sleep last night I am not holding out too much hope!
Anway, thats about it for today!
XXX Ros
