Yay! I am almost done with my yoke. I just have one more join to sew and it's done. Then I need P's help to put it on and double check that I joined all the "touching" points.
I discovered that the jersey knit I was planning to use (Ps old blue shirt) is the wrong shade of blue, it is more royal whereas this is more navy. Pooh! So I am going to need to ick up some jersey this weekend to finish it off.
The yoke was fun to make. Once you've cut out the circles it's completely mindless "busy work" for your hands and perfect for in front of the TV since you don't need your machine. I love projects like this... where I can go on autopilot and switch off, but still keep my hands busy. I think it's the ex-smoker in me that always needs my hands busy.
I think it looks super cool and I can't wait to attach the bottom! YAYYYY!!

I love it Ros!!! Please send me a link or a pic when you're all done so I can put it up on my blog!! I'm really excited to see it don in color as I've only stuck to white so far. And you know I'm going through my blue phase, so this is doubly exciting!
Oh I so have to make me some them yo-yos! It's like there's a yo-yo epidemic and I am border-line feverish now!
