Quite well, thank you for asking! What garden? Well it's the garden I completely forgot to mention here... We went for a walk the other night... (you know, at Walmart Super Center... we exercise in air conditioned comfort, doesn't everyone? haha) Anyway, we were on our first lap of the ginormous Walmart out in Pflugerville when we came upon a super sale on topsy turvy tomato planters... oh, excuse me... not topsy turvy, these are Upsy Downsy... whatever... but they were selling for $2, seeds included AND the pot wasn't that hideous green bag but a traditional hanging pot in a nondescript beige color so I snapped it up. We rounded the next corner and came upon another upside down planter, this time a plastic tower of sorts that allows you to plant regular plants up top, and your tomatoes underneath. It's genius and was only $12!!
There are many reasons why I am excited about this...
1) I don't need to dig up and plant in our yard, only to leave it behind when we sell
2) I don't need to venture too far away from airconditioning while tending to my plants... heck, I could even bring them indoors. (Yes, I am a bit heat baby!)
3) The fact that the box is waist high means that I don't need to kneel in the dirt to work on the garden... (Do I need to remind you about our snake?)
So you can see I was over the moon!!
Here's what I have going so far.
1) Chili
2) Basil (pictured here peeking out of the ground just 4 days after planting!!)
3) Cilantro (AKA Dhania or Coriander to my Saffa peeps)
4) Giant tomatoes
5) Less giant tomatoes (Yes, these are their Latin genus names)

Can't wait to see how they do! I have also never been green-fingered, but haven't killed a plant this season yet. Hehe. Am becoming a bore, I think, all I want to do is talk plants and go to the garden centre.
