OK, so I mentioned briefly the other day how inspired I've been by Nicole Balch of Making it Lovely. Well a couple of months back Nicole posted about these flowers and birds she had found on eBay. Well, of course I rushed right on over to see what was available... lucky for me, I was late in finding Making it Lovely, so I read the post long after everyone else did and the fight for Syrocco items on eBay had died down somewhat... Or so I thought.
Anyway, last week I finally found something JUUUUUST kitsch enough, but not completely OTT as some of them have been. And LOOK at these beauties:
*Sigh!* Things were looking good and 24 hours before the sale ended we were $20 with no sign of increasing... but then, at the last minute (as usual with eBay) everyone jumped on the bandwagon and competition was fierce. I ended up paying quite a bit more than I wanted to for them... but ya know what... They're gorg, they're the right color, and they're going into my office/craft room and I LOVE them. I can't wait for them to get here!!
