So We Saw In Flames And...

They KICKED ASS!!!
Seriously cool!!! They opened with two of their newer tracks that I don't know at all. But then, all of a sudden he says, "Now we're going to play something from one of our older albums. This song is called Clayman!" and tears welled up in my eyes and everything was right with the world!!

Then arrghhhh... can't. remember. songs..... MUST. Remember. Song. Order.... Rats! I can tell you what they played, but not the order they were played in. Say thanks to my incredible memory peeps!

But, they played Jester Race, My Sweet Shadow, Quiet Place, Cloud Connected, Trigger, Come Clarity and of course Clayman. And they killed them all and they sounded fantastic which ROCKS because I was worried they were going to suck live. I am honest, I've watched live DVDs and such and they often stink... ok... they sort of stunk live. But not tonight! Oh no, tonight they were incredible and wonderful and excellent and they made my eyes well up!! They had these cool lights too... not just crappy flags like some of the other bands had... they had proper fancy laser lights that flashed and spun and threw spirally magic flashes onto the walls and into the faces of the miserable old folks on the upper tier who sat on their hands waiting for Megadeth.

And you know what else?? They'll be back in November! Woohoooooooooo!! Hopefully for a show on their own because seriously, between the kids who came to see Job for a Cowboy, the depressed teens who came to see Bodom and the farts and rednecks who came to see Megadeth it was all just a bit too much.

I WISH I could have taken my camera in. They said no camera's and yet there were quite a few there so I don't know.... hmm... I wonder if I buy a small slim camera if I can convince P to "keyster" it into the next show... I had best start begging now!

I am soooooooo glad P convinced me to buy the hoodie. $60!!! I nearly passed out!!! But it's SOOO cool and I love it... hmmm... need to take some pics I think.

Anyway, when IF left the stage we left. We weren't about to hang around waiting for Megadeth when we had this *cough!* working girl next to us about to cause full scale war amongst the mullet set. Also, I needed a pee and I wasn't about to use a second public loo today after the monstrosity I faced en route to Houston.
Houston, by the way, is without doubt the smelliest city we have ever been in. This is a lovely hotel but my god does it stink here. Everywhere just smells like sewer. Yuck!

Pee-Yoo!
Anyway, more about that later... time to snuggle with him...

In this super comfy bed...
