The Midnight Gardners

So you know it's hot in Texas. You know how happy I was to finally have a garden. So on Sunday we decided to spend a couple dollars and try to make some small changes in the yard. Unfortunately due to the heat we did most of the work at night... here's Peter sowing grass seed in his robe. How CUTE is my husband??? SERIOUSLY!!

Here are my cute impatiens... the only things we found at the nursery that can survive in damp shady areas... They're pretty though... and they remind me of my granny's house when I was a kid... she had loads of these outside her kitchen door.
