*sigh!*
After more to-ing and fro-ing we are no longer buying the house. It's a long sad story, but basically we are calling it a day with this whole thing for at least 6 months while we gather our thoughts and hopefully build up our credit history. Personally I think it's hilarious that two people who have no debt are a bad risk, but who are we to argue... now... time to go spend copious amounts of money and rack up some serious debt. Apparently the more money we owe, the more desirable we are to the banks! Can you say, SHOPPING!! haha
Anyway... we are really bummed about this whole nightmare and we are SOOO sad to let this house go. But we also keep reminding ourselves that everything happens for a reason and that there will be other homes. Also, this whole battle royale we've been waging with the lenders has almost tainted the whole experience for us. When we do eventually buy and it's the right and perfect place for us, I want and need it to be smooth sailing.
Good things some to those who wait... waiting is the theme of my life... I honestly believe that it's the lesson I am supposed to be learning here on earth... patience... ugh. I am the least patient person on the planet and Peter isn't much better than me. But I guess after the whole visa waiting period, nothing will feel that bad again.
Anyway, I am working on a new crochet project this week. One of the things I got started with the Christmas money from the hubs. I will post pics as soon as I have something more to show. You know how I dislike posting pics of little threads of chain.
Have a good weekend everyone!!
