Can you believe this!! We negotiated back ad forth all weekend. Yesterday we reached a verbal agreement. We faxed the signed offer. Today our realtor called to say that the seller needs more time before she is willing to sign the agreement. She isn't sure that she is willing to accept our low offer (we are offering her $1,200 less than her requested price!!)
We have given her until 9am tomorrow to give us a yes or no. At this point, frankly, we are ready to walk away. If she comes back with a new price, or a no or not at all, we are canceling our offer and moving on to look at other places. Who knows what else is out there.
It might sound silly to lose a house over $1,200, but frankly it's dumber for her not to accept our offer seeing as how it's a buyers market and there are more properties on the market in Taylor right now than there are buyers looking in Taylor. Either way she's pushed us to "the dark place" and we are just the stubborn buttheads to walk away from the deal just because she jerked us around.

Taylor? Are you nuts, woman? There's no courier service out there to Austin! LOL! Seriously, that is one of my requirements! Hehehe... glad you found a place you like. I have a friend that lives out there that likes it a lot. I just like to be near a big mall and stuff ;)
