This little beauty starting popping out flowers this week. SOOOO pretty to see her in bloom again after the snowstorm.
Ok, so it's not strictly green, but these trees line the street on both sides adding bright punches of color against the sky and a pinkish glow below.
It really is a whole different neighborhood isn't it? I have to say, I LOVE spring in the Northern hemisphere. In S.A. I don't know that we have such clearly different seasons. They all kind of end up in two... cold/not cold. Here though every four months the whole world seems to change.
Yesterday was my sister's birthday...

she went and turned the big 4-0.... so you know what that means don't you??? It means that this year will mark the beginning of my final year as a twenty-something... and I am NOT happy about it. I dye my hair... a lot... and the last few weeks I SWEAR I've seen flashes of little grey baby hairs peeking out of the red. I will NOT accept this!! They MUST be stopped!

Hahahaha don't worry, I've been panicking since Jan 1st about turning 30 NEXT YEAR! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek. I can't bear it. Or believe it. I just pretend it's not true and keep dyeing the old... erm, young, locks.
Whoops... my husband informs me that my sister is only 38 this year... hhahahah.... Why on EARTH did she say to me when we spoke last, "... I am 40 now you know... I can't do this stuff anymore." Why on EARTH did she just age herself 2 years, thereby dumping herself in the 40's, when she didn't need to??? Clearly it doesn't bother her as much as it bothers me!

No, Lu is in September. Not quite hot here yet Bunz... it was 10 degrees outside for most of the day and now it's warmed up to a sizzling (NOT) 1! woohooo! hahaha
