Here is the boy playing his drums in our bedroom. Not to worry, he has those drum silencer pads so it's all good. I even managed to carry on with my transcriptions over the weekend while he played.
The plan WAS to bring them here, clean then up and then sell them so that A) we have less stuff to take with us, B) we have some extra $$. Alas, I have decided I need to learn to play, also I like that he has a hobby that doesn't require him to sit staring at the computer screen all day. Online poker is fun, I love to watch him get all excited about his wins, but you know that I know sitting behind the PC isn't exactly the best thing to do with your time.
Ok, so drumming isn't a hobby we can do together, but I am slowly giving up on that hope. I don't see picking up a crochet hook any time soon, we only have one computer and he has totally nixed any notions I had of taking dance classes together!! (Don't laugh... I offered line dancing as one of the options too.)
Still... maybe if he teaches me how to play? We are still discussing things.
In other news the blanket is almost done. Just tidying up some loose ends and will take pics, hopefully tomorrow.
