Good News!!

Well... today is our 3 month anniversary... and it would have been a very sad day, if youve read some of our earlier posts you will know that we felt certain that by today we would finally be together...)... but alas, this was not to be.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to my gorgeous husband! Let's hope that we get to spend the next one together, and the next and the next and the next and the next one.... forever and ever...

we DID get some great news on Friday but I have been so busy with getting the new business off the ground that I havent had a chance to blog it... Eric emailed me on friday evening to say that the Police Clearance that they requested is there!! It only took them 8 days... the one in Holland was requested a full week after the embassy requested theirs and yet it is ready first. So I am glad we requested from two sources!

Trouble is it is in Dutch, and while I can translate it, they require official translation by a third party, so I have to get it sent here by courier tomorrow, then translated in the North of Joburg, then I will call and book an appointment at the consulate. (I'm thinking of taking presents for the security staff, we all know each other so well, this is like my 10th trip there or something obscene!). And then, maybe, I will get the visa at last.... I am not getting my hopes up this time. i will not be able to go through another let down like last time... it was AWFUL!

Anyway, Luana is busy working on my website!!! It is all SOOO exciting, the address is www.the-edge-va.com and I feel like a proud parent! This is where all my focus is right now, I am determined to make this work! I WILL make a success out of this if it kills me!

Anyway, I had better get going. I will let you know what happens with the clearance!
