Ok, I am still waiting for the papers from the courier... they are in SA as we speak but they think they will only be delivered tomorrow morning, however.... I have been in contact with them begging and pleading... and they will TRY to get them to me today... If they succeed, I already have an appointment booked at the consulate for tom morning at 9AM! problem is that I might not be able to make it if A) the courier doesnt get here today and B) Grans car isnt licensed. I could and will probably just take a chance with the car. I drive it there, park it in the parking lot inside the mall across the street from the embassy and then drive it home again... unless I am pulled over on the way which I never am as I always wear my seatbelt and the car has no outward damage or anything wrong with it, so I think I will be fine there and back. OH PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZEEE let this thing be delivired today!!!
Vishan, (our official), says that he will try, since I am going there in the morning, to have the visa in my passport on the same day so I can leave tomorrow night if I want to.... hmmm I wonder what flights are like for same day booking?? Otherwise, I will be on a flight on Friday which is also ok cos then I will arrive there when peter is on two days off.... so that works too really i spose...
